TisBest is a nonprofit as well, and we issue digital donation checks to charities quarterly. Grouping the donations this way helps us manage the costs of transfer fees so we can send 100% of the donations to selected charities and we keep our process sustainable.
When digital donation checks are issued they are either emailed to the Digital Check Recipient on file (for charities that have set up their Charity Dashboard already), or we mail setup and claim instructions to the IRS-registered address on file.
To make sure you receive your donation as promptly as possible, let us know your preferred mailing address.
We source charity address information from the IRS, but you may have a mailing address that differs from your physical address, or you may have moved and the IRS records haven't updated yet.
If you are a charity representative and you want to update the mailing address we have on file for you, please contact us at charities@tisbest.org with your charity name and EIN (taxID#).
The address shown on our website reflects your address as published in the IRS state files.
If you've moved recently and haven't already done so, we recommend updating your address with the IRS using form 8822-B. When they update their state files, the changes will be reflected on our website shortly thereafter.

Donation Receipts
When someone purchases a Charity Gift Card they receive a donation tax receipt from us. We then send the funds to the charity chosen by their gift card recipient.
We do not require a donation receipt from charities. However, if your organization’s policies dictate you must send a receipt, you may email it to donationreceipts@tisbest.org. Please know that is an unmonitored email address.
